MACCE Industries, LLC ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the MACCE GrowthIQ™ Auditor (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — name, email, password hash, and authentication provider (e.g., Google).
• Business information — the website URL, business name, industry, and location you submit for analysis.
• Audit data — publicly available content scraped from the website you submit, plus derived signals and AI-generated analysis.
• Usage data — log data, device and browser information, IP address, and pages viewed.
• Cookies — strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and session management.

2. How We Use Information

• To generate, deliver, and improve growth audit reports.
• To authenticate accounts and prevent abuse.
• To communicate service announcements and respond to support requests.
• To produce aggregated, de-identified benchmarks across the platform.

3. AI & Third-Party Processors

We use third-party service providers under contract to operate the Service. These include cloud infrastructure, authentication, web crawling (Firecrawl), and AI model providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI). Information sent to AI providers is used only to generate your report and is not used to train their public models.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With service providers acting on our behalf;
• When required by law or to protect rights and safety;
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice).

5. Data Retention

Audit reports and account data are retained for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period for backups and legal recordkeeping. You may request deletion at any time (see Your Rights below).

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), at rest for sensitive fields, role-based access controls, and database row-level security. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@macceindustries.com.

8. International Transfers

We operate primarily in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. under appropriate safeguards.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We will post updates to this Privacy Policy here with a new "Last updated" date.
